Medicare

This is a solicitation for insurance. A licensed agent will contact you to discuss your Medicare options. 🔒 Your information is 100% private and will never be shared or sold to third parties.

Medicare plans we help you compare:

Medicare Advantage
(Part C)

All-in-one plans covering hospital, medical, and usually prescription drugs, often with extra benefits like dental, vision and hearing.

Medicare Supplement
(Medigap)

Plans that fill the gaps in Original Medicare, helping cover copays, coinsurance, and deductibles to reduce your out-of-pocket costs.

Prescription Drug Plans
(Part D)

Affordable plans that help cover the cost of your medications, making prescriptions easier on your budget.

Why people trust NavaQuote for Medicare:

We simplify a confusing process by shopping multiple carriers and breaking down your options clearly. You get personal service from someone who cares, not a call center. And if your health or needs change, we’ll be here to help you adjust your coverage.

Frequently asked questions

You can sign up for Medicare during your Initial Enrollment Period! That’s the 3 months before you turn 65, your birthday month, plus 3 months after. Miss that? No worries, there’s a Enrollment Period from January 1 to March 31 each year. You might also qualify for Special Enrollment Periods if you’ve had certain life changes, like losing your employer coverage.

Just keep in mind, if you wait too long without qualifying for a Special Enrollment, you could face late enrollment penalties that stick with you for life.

Here’s the quick version:

  • Part A covers hospital stays and usually doesn’t cost you a premium.
  • Part B covers doctor visits and outpatient care, and there’s a monthly premium for that.
  • Part C, or Medicare Advantage, is a private plan that bundles A and B — sometimes with prescription drugs too.
  • Part D is for prescription drug coverage if you stick with Original Medicare (Parts A and B).

If you’re 65+ and still have employer coverage that’s considered “creditable,” you might be able to delay signing up for Medicare without a penalty. But the rules can change depending on your employer’s size and plan details, so it’s key to understand how your coverage works with Medicare to avoid any gaps or surprise fees.

Costs vary based on your plan and income. Most folks don’t pay a premium for Part A. Part B comes with a standard monthly premium, which can go up if your income is higher. Medicare Advantage and Part D plans have different premiums, deductibles, and out-of-pocket costs. And if you earn more, you might pay an extra charge called IRMAA on Parts B and D.
