You can contact NavaQuote LLC about personal information or request account deletion without signing in or reinstalling the app. This page explains how to make a request, what we may need to verify, and why some insurance records may need to be retained.
Deleting your NavaQuote account does not cancel insurance. For a policy change or cancellation, contact your insurer or licensed producer and obtain confirmation through the applicable policy process.
1. Start a request
Email [email protected] with the subject “NavaQuote privacy request”, or call 706-600-8053 and ask for assistance with a privacy or account-deletion request.
In an initial request, please provide:
- Your name and a way for us to respond.
- The email address associated with the account or quote, if applicable.
- What you want to request: access or a copy, correction, deletion of particular information, account deletion, a communication preference, or another privacy right.
- Enough context to locate the relevant service or record, such as whether you used the website, mobile app, or a guest quote. A quote reference is helpful if you already have it.
- Your state of residence if relevant to the right you are requesting.
Do not attach a driver's license, Social Security number, medical record, password, or other sensitive document to an ordinary email. If additional verification is necessary, we will explain what is needed and how to provide it appropriately. We will not ask for your password to process a privacy request.
For a request specifically to delete an account, you can use this account-deletion email link. Opening the link only prepares an email; you must send it to submit your request. Sending a request starts review; it does not immediately erase records or close an account.
2. Requests you can make
Depending on the applicable law and information involved, you may request:
- Access or a copy: ask what personal information we hold or request a copy where the right applies.
- Correction: identify information you believe is inaccurate and explain the correction.
- Deletion of information: identify particular information or activity you want reviewed for deletion, including a guest quote or uploaded image.
- Account deletion: ask us to close the NavaQuote account and delete associated information that is eligible for deletion.
- Choices or restrictions: ask about withdrawing consent, communication preferences, or restrictions on processing or disclosure where applicable.
- Review of a decision: ask why a request was declined or limited and request an appeal where the law provides one.
The availability and scope of a right can depend on your residence, the type of record, and applicable insurance, financial-privacy, consumer-reporting, health-information, and other laws. We assess requests under the requirements that apply rather than treating all records as subject to the same rule.
3. Verification and representatives
Before disclosing information, closing an account, or changing records, we may need to verify that you are the relevant person or an authorized representative. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity, taking account of the sensitivity of the records and the risk of an unauthorized request. If the information supplied is insufficient, we may ask for additional details or explain why we cannot fulfill a particular request without verification.
If you act for someone else, tell us your role and the nature of your authority. Where required or appropriate, we may request evidence of authorization or confirmation from the person concerned. This includes requests involving a dependent, deceased person, business, or another household member. We do not disclose another person's records solely because their information appears in the same insurance application.
4. What account deletion does and does not mean
An account-deletion request asks us to review closure of the NavaQuote account and removal of associated personal information that is not subject to a lawful retention requirement. It can include account profile details, saved answers, draft quotes, and uploaded images, depending on the record and the transaction.
Account deletion is different from:
- Signing out, which ends access through a session but does not erase all records.
- Clearing browser storage or uninstalling the app, which may remove local information but does not submit a server-side deletion request.
- Removing a license photo, which addresses that image rather than the whole account.
- Canceling insurance, which requires the applicable carrier or producer process.
- Deleting a separate identity-provider account, which may affect other services and is subject to that provider's process. Tell us if your concern also involves the sign-in account so we can clarify which records NavaQuote controls.
If you want a copy of information before deletion, include that in the request. Do not assume that deleted information will remain available for restoration. Local copies, downloaded documents, and records held independently by an insurer or another business may need separate attention.
5. Records that may need to remain
We may need to retain information for a legally permitted or required purpose, including insurance recordkeeping, an active transaction, fraud prevention, tax or accounting duties, complaint handling, litigation or a legal hold, or establishing and defending legal claims. Retention can include a limited record of the privacy request and our response.
We will explain any limitation or refusal as required by applicable law, including which parts of a request can be fulfilled and which records need to be retained. Backup handling and an independent recipient's retention can differ from deletion in an active account system. We do not promise that all copies in all systems disappear instantly.
An insurer or other independent business may need its own request. We can help identify the relevant participant where reasonably possible, but cannot promise deletion of records we do not control or that another party must lawfully retain.
6. Responses, timing, and review
Applicable legal deadlines govern our response. Timing can depend on verification, the records involved, and any extension permitted by law. We will notify you of an extension and explain a decision when required.
If you have not heard back or disagree with a response, contact [email protected] and identify the earlier request without resending sensitive documents. Ask for a review and, where applicable, an appeal. You may also contact the relevant privacy or insurance regulator. Nothing here limits a statutory complaint right or permits unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right.
7. Communication choices are separate
You can ask us to stop marketing contact without deleting your account. You can also request account deletion without intending to cancel a policy. Be clear about which action you want so that one request is not mistaken for another.
See Communications & SMS Terms for how to communicate a contact preference and our Privacy Policy for information practices. For urgent policy service or a claim, use the appropriate insurer or producer channel rather than waiting for a privacy request to be resolved.
