These Communications & SMS Terms explain communication choices for NavaQuote LLC ("NavaQuote," "we," "us," or "our"). They supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. They do not, by themselves, enroll you in a messaging program or authorize a call or text.
Need to change a contact preference? Email [email protected] or call 706-600-8053. Tell us the address or number concerned and what contact you want to stop. Do not send sensitive insurance, health, or identity documents to change a preference.
1. Requested service communications
When you ask for a quote, a callback, account assistance, or other service, we may use the contact information you provide to respond and coordinate the request, subject to applicable law. Communications can relate to missing information, quote status, an appointment, application follow-up, or support.
The method and frequency depend on your request and the available service. Providing a telephone number does not automatically establish every form of consent that might be required for automated calls, prerecorded messages, or marketing texts. A permission given to NavaQuote also does not necessarily authorize a different business to contact you for an unrelated purpose.
2. Marketing and automated communications
Marketing communications and communications using particular technologies may require additional consent or disclosures. Where required, the relevant invitation or enrollment process must identify the sender, describe the communications and technology, and obtain the required consent before those communications begin. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchasing insurance where applicable law prohibits that condition.
These Terms, a Privacy Policy acknowledgment, a quote submission, or acceptance of general website Terms is not a substitute for a required marketing opt-in. Any separate campaign-specific terms or disclosures apply to that program, subject to applicable law. Revoking consent to marketing does not itself cancel an insurance policy.
3. SMS charges, frequency, and delivery
If you participate in an SMS service offered by NavaQuote, message and data rates may apply under your wireless plan. Your carrier determines those charges. Message frequency varies with the request and program; any more specific enrollment disclosure controls the program it describes.
Delivery is subject to network availability, device compatibility, filtering, carrier restrictions, and other conditions. Messages may be delayed or not delivered. Do not rely on an SMS message as the sole evidence that coverage has been bound, a policy has been canceled, a premium has been paid, or a claim has been reported. Confirm those actions through the applicable insurer or authorized representative.
4. Withdrawing consent or changing a preference
You may communicate a clear request to stop contact or withdraw consent by emailing [email protected] or calling 706-600-8053. Include the relevant number or email address, the kind of communications involved, and whether you want to stop marketing only or a broader category of contact.
To request an end to texts, use the email or phone contact above. If a message includes reply-based opt-out instructions, such as replying STOP, you may also follow those instructions. If a reply fails or you continue to receive unwanted messages, contact us directly. You do not have to use a particular keyword when applicable law recognizes another clear, reasonable way to revoke consent. A legally effective revocation does not depend on creating an account or submitting unnecessary personal information.
A request is subject to the scope and handling requirements of applicable law. Where a single confirmation message is permitted, it may confirm the request without advertising. A marketing opt-out does not necessarily prevent legally required notices or a response you separately request; those communications still need their own lawful basis. An automated reply may not be available for every contact channel.
5. Help and changed numbers
For help, email [email protected] or call 706-600-8053. If the messaging program tells you it supports HELP, you can use that keyword as instructed. The email and phone options remain available if a keyword is unsupported or fails.
Use only a telephone number or email address you are authorized to provide. Let us know if the number changes, is reassigned, or no longer belongs to you. Do not knowingly enroll another person without authority. If you receive messages intended for someone else, tell us without sending their sensitive information back in your response.
6. Email, device notifications, and privacy
For marketing email, use the unsubscribe mechanism in the message where provided, or contact us directly. A marketing-email preference does not necessarily disable account-security messages or communications separately requested by you. Manage device-notification permissions through your operating-system settings where the feature is available; changing that setting does not necessarily change email or SMS preferences.
Communications may be visible on a lock screen or accessible to someone who shares your device or account. Avoid sending driver's license images, medical records, passwords, financial credentials, or other sensitive information by ordinary text or email. Ask for an appropriate way to provide necessary documents.
Our Privacy Policy explains how contact information and communications are handled. For an information or account-deletion request rather than a messaging preference, use Privacy Requests & Account Deletion.
7. Changes and contact
The displayed version and effective date identify these Terms. Changes to a program do not eliminate any requirement to provide notice, obtain new consent, or honor a prior opt-out under applicable law. These Terms do not restrict a complaint to a carrier, regulator, or other authority or waive a right you cannot lawfully waive.
