These Terms of Service ("Terms") describe the conditions for using the websites and applications operated by NavaQuote LLC ("NavaQuote," "we," "us," or "our"), including www.navaquote.com, app.navaquote.com, our mobile applications, and related online quote and support features (the "Services"). Read them together with our Privacy Policy and Insurance & Licensing Disclosures.
Important: A request, displayed quote, application submission, chat, or account confirmation does not itself establish insurance coverage. Only the applicable insurer or a person authorized to bind that insurer can confirm that coverage is in force.
1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms set out the conditions on which NavaQuote provides the Services. Where you are asked to accept them, review the linked version before accepting. Whether a particular use constitutes acceptance is determined by the notice presented and applicable law. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use features requiring agreement, and contact us if you need another way to obtain assistance.
These Terms do not replace an insurance policy, application, binder, carrier agreement, legally required disclosure, or separate authorization. If a provision conflicts with an insurance contract concerning coverage, the insurance contract controls. A separate written agreement with NavaQuote controls a conflict on the particular subject it expressly addresses.
The Privacy Policy explains information practices; accepting these Terms is not blanket consent to marketing, consumer-report access, health-record access, recording, advertising tracking, or electronic delivery where a separate consent is required.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter an agreement to create your own account. The Services are intended for adult users seeking insurance-related services in the United States. Product availability depends on the applicant, location, licensing, carrier appointments, and underwriting requirements. Access to a website or app from a location does not establish that insurance is available there.
If you act for a business or another person, you represent that you have authority for the actions you take and the information you provide. You must not submit another person's information without an appropriate basis. Your authority to complete an application is not automatically authority to sign every required consent or authorize another person's consumer reports.
3. NavaQuote's role and insurance transactions
NavaQuote provides insurance-brokerage and related application and support services; it is not the insurer issuing your policy. We may work with insurers and other brokerage participants to respond to your request. See our disclosures for the brokerage relationship and licensing information.
Quotes and comparisons depend on information available at the time and may change. A carrier may require additional information, reports, inspections, signatures, payment, or underwriting review. Displayed coverage descriptions are summaries, not a substitute for policy wording. An estimate, eligibility result, or apparent completion of a digital workflow is not a promise of acceptance, price, savings, benefits, or a coverage effective date.
Do not cancel existing coverage in reliance on a quote or application alone. Obtain and review the applicable binding confirmation and policy documents. A message asking to add, change, renew, or cancel coverage does not establish that the requested action has occurred; obtain confirmation through the applicable insurer or authorized representative.
4. Accounts, devices, and security
Provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably current. Protect your credentials, device, and any authentication methods associated with the account. Do not share access in a way that exposes another person's information or permits unauthorized activity. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Some information may be saved on your device and synchronized with an account. Guest progress may be associated with an account when you sign in. Sign-out, clearing local storage, and uninstalling the app have different effects and do not necessarily remove server records. Consult the Privacy Policy and privacy-request instructions.
We may take reasonable steps to verify identity, protect access, or investigate unusual activity. You remain responsible for your own authorized use, but these Terms do not make you automatically liable for every unauthorized act or displace protections provided by applicable law.
5. Applications, documents, and communications
You are responsible for reviewing the information you submit and for correcting material errors promptly. Do not knowingly submit false, incomplete, misleading, or fraudulent information. Material misstatements or omissions may affect underwriting, pricing, eligibility, or coverage under the applicable insurance contract and law.
You retain any rights you have in the material you submit. You authorize NavaQuote to use, store, reproduce, format, and transmit that material only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested Services, support the related insurance transaction, protect the Services, and meet applicable legal obligations, consistent with the Privacy Policy. This authorization does not transfer ownership of your information or authorize unrelated uses without a lawful basis.
Messages and notifications can be delayed, filtered, or unavailable. Do not use a support chat or general inbox as the sole means of reporting an emergency, a time-sensitive claim, or a binding instruction. Follow your insurer's policy and claim-reporting procedures. For emergencies, contact the appropriate emergency service.
6. Separate permissions and electronic records
A feature may require a particular disclosure, acknowledgment, or authorization. Any consumer-report request must have the required permissible purpose and satisfy applicable disclosure and authorization rules. Permission to communicate about a request is not necessarily permission for automated marketing communications. Our Communications & SMS Terms provide additional information.
Where electronic records or signatures require a separate consumer consent, the relevant process must provide the legally required disclosures and obtain that consent. These Terms alone do not establish that you have demonstrated access to electronic records, waived paper-copy rights, or agreed to electronic delivery of every insurance document. Contact us or the relevant carrier about available alternatives.
7. Permitted use and app license
Subject to these Terms and applicable law, NavaQuote permits you to access the Services and grants a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to use its app for your own lawful insurance-related purposes or on behalf of a person or organization you are authorized to represent. Applicable app-store usage rules also apply. This license does not transfer ownership of the software or content.
You must not:
- Use the Services for fraud, impersonation, unlawful discrimination, or other unlawful activity.
- Access accounts, records, systems, or information without authorization; defeat access controls; or probe security without permission.
- Introduce malicious software, interfere with availability, or impose unreasonable load through automated activity.
- Harvest personal information, use contact features to send unsolicited messages, or disclose information you have no right to disclose.
- Copy or redistribute protected content for commercial exploitation without permission, except as applicable law allows.
- Reverse engineer or circumvent technical protections except to the extent applicable law permits notwithstanding this restriction.
Nothing here prohibits good-faith activity protected by law. If you discover a security concern, contact us without accessing or disclosing other users' information.
8. Intellectual property and third-party services
NavaQuote and its licensors retain rights in the Services' software, design, text, and other protected materials, except for material belonging to users or other rights holders. Carrier names, logos, and other third-party marks belong to their owners. Their appearance does not expand a carrier's contractual commitments or establish that every product is offered by NavaQuote.
Links and integrations may take you to insurer, authentication, lookup, payment, or other third-party services. Their own terms and notices govern their services. NavaQuote does not control every action, statement, availability decision, or data practice of an independent third party. This does not excuse NavaQuote from responsibility imposed on it by law.
9. Payments, availability, and changes
An insurance premium is governed by the insurer's billing arrangements and policy terms. Do not assume that a quote request, saved application, or use of an app feature has paid a premium. Any fee charged by NavaQuote must be separately disclosed as required before you incur it; these Terms do not independently authorize a subscription or recurring charge.
We may maintain, update, change, or discontinue features and may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, misuse prevention, or operation of the Services. We may suspend or terminate access for a material violation of these Terms. Where appropriate and feasible, we will give notice; urgent protective action may occur first. Changes to a digital service do not by themselves cancel or amend an insurance contract.
10. Service disclaimers and limitations of liability
We aim to provide useful, accurate Services, but do not warrant that all content will be complete, current, error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every situation. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the digital Services and general informational content are provided "as is" and "as available," without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. Express commitments in an applicable separate agreement remain subject to that agreement.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, NavaQuote is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the digital Services. This exclusion does not apply where prohibited and does not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or a breach of a duty that cannot lawfully be limited.
Nothing in these Terms limits nonwaivable consumer rights, insurance-producer duties, statutory remedies, or obligations under an insurance contract. Some jurisdictions do not permit particular warranty or liability exclusions; those exclusions apply only to the extent lawful. This section does not create a numerical cap on otherwise recoverable direct damages.
11. Account closure and surviving obligations
You may stop using the Services and request account deletion using Privacy Requests & Account Deletion. Deletion can require identity verification and be subject to lawful retention. Deleting an account does not cancel insurance, withdraw a claim, erase a carrier's records, or discharge an existing payment or other contractual obligation.
Provisions that by their nature need to continue, including ownership, lawful recordkeeping, applicable liability provisions, and dispute-related provisions, survive termination to the extent necessary and permitted by law.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Georgia law, without using its conflict-of-law rules to displace mandatory protections that otherwise apply. Applicable federal law and nonwaivable protections of your jurisdiction remain in effect. This choice does not determine the law governing a separate insurance policy.
Please contact us first if you have a concern so that we can try to address it. That invitation is not a mandatory exhaustion requirement and does not prevent you from contacting a regulator, bringing an eligible small-claims matter, or pursuing a remedy otherwise available by law. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver. Any court proceeding remains subject to applicable jurisdiction and venue rules.
13. Changes and general provisions
We may revise these Terms. The displayed version and effective date identify the current text. Material changes will receive any notice or renewed acceptance required by applicable law; a revision does not retroactively waive accrued rights or independently change an insurance policy.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent they can operate lawfully. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a general waiver. Section headings are for convenience. These Terms and any expressly applicable separate agreements address their stated subjects; they do not displace legally required disclosures or oral or written representations that applicable law makes binding.
14. Contact
